तमिलनाडु के रामेश्वरम में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश के पहले वर्टिकल लिफ्ट रेलवे सागरीय पुल, नए पंबन ब्रिज का उद्घाटन किया। 2.08 किलोमीटर लंबा और 550 करोड़ की लागत से बना यह आधुनिक पुल रामेश्वरम को मुख्यभूमि से जोड़ते हुए परिवहन और पर्यटन की नई राह खोलेगा। इसकी विशेषता इसका वर्टिकल लिफ्ट सिस्टम है, जो जहाजों के गुजरने के लिए पुल के मध्य भाग को 17 मीटर ऊपर उठा सकता है। मोदी ने इसे ‘विकास और आस्था का संगम’ बताते हुए इसे भारत की इंजीनियरिंग क्षमता और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर का प्रतीक करार दिया।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a rousing welcome in Purnea, Bihar, where he unveiled and inaugurated development projects worth ₹36,000 crore. From launching the National Makhana Board to flagging off new Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains, and inaugurating the Purnea Airport civil enclave, Modi’s visit signaled a major boost for infrastructure, agriculture, and connectivity ahead of the state polls. Calling it the “fruits of double-engine sarkar,” Modi emphasized a vision of “Viksit Bihar by 2047,” while the announcements drew applause from farmers, youth, and local residents alike.

Maharashtra Samajwadi Party Chief Abu Asim Azmi expressed disappointment over the Supreme Court’s interim order on the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025, stating it brings “no substantial benefits” to Muslims. While the court stayed some provisions—including the five-year practicing Muslim clause and collectors’ power over waqf disputes—Azmi criticized the lack of reforms on core issues like verification, pre-independence waqf records, and Muslim leadership in waqf boards. He reiterated demands for the Bill’s rejection, arguing it undermines religious rights without solving encroachment or transparency concerns.

केन्द्रीय विद्यालय संगठन (केवीएस) को वर्ष 2024-25 के लिए हिंदी भाषा के प्रचार-प्रसार में उत्कृष्ट योगदान हेतु प्रतिष्ठित राजभाषा कीर्ति पुरस्कार (द्वितीय स्थान) से सम्मानित किया गया। गांधीनगर में आयोजित 5वें अखिल भारतीय राजभाषा सम्मेलन में केवीएस की आयुक्त सुश्री प्राची पाण्डेय ने यह पुरस्कार ग्रहण किया। यह सम्मान केवीएस के उन प्रयासों का प्रतीक है जिनसे हिंदी न केवल शैक्षिक और प्रशासनिक कार्यों में, बल्कि सांस्कृतिक एकता के प्रतीक के रूप में भी सशक्त हुई है।
