As part of the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Festival, women Self-Help Groups under the Bihan Mission showcased a wide range of locally made products at a sales-cum-exhibition in Rajnandgaon. The event recorded sales of ₹88,200, reflecting the success of women’s entrepreneurship and rural development initiatives in the state.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, a district-level Free AYUSH Health Fair and Traditional Cuisine Exhibition will be organized on October 12, 2025 (Sunday) at Mangal Bhavan, Ward No. 3, Motipur, Rajnandgaon. The event aims to promote holistic wellness through Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Homeopathy, Siddha, and Naturopathy systems while showcasing India’s nutritious and traditional food culture.

The Rajnandgaon Livestock Fair and Veterinary Camp showcased advanced breeds, provided animal health services, and offered expert guidance to farmers. Award-winning livestock and interactive sessions underlined the event’s role in boosting animal husbandry and rural self-employment opportunities.

As part of the Seva Pakhwada being observed from September 17 to October 2 on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, the Social Welfare Department of Rajnandgaon has flagged off a “Disability Service Rath.” The Rath will visit 110 villages in Chhuriya block, spreading awareness about welfare schemes for Divyangjans and collecting data on 21 categories of disabilities. In addition, service camps will be organized at Janpad Panchayats between September 20 and 28 to provide services such as Aadhaar enrollment and correction, Ayushman card generation, transport passes, disability pension applications, marriage incentives, and assistive device assessments. Authorities have urged maximum participation from Divyangjans to avail these benefits.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Rajnandgaon district administration, labor department, and IB Group organized a mega health camp benefiting over 800 workers. Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure emphasized the government’s sensitivity towards workers’ health and welfare, while IB Group pledged continued efforts in employment, healthcare, and social welfare.

Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure directed officials to actively deliver welfare schemes during the Seva Pakhwada (September 17–October 2), emphasizing sanitation, health camps, and farmer support measures. He also ordered arrangements for Navratri and Dongargarh pilgrims, reviewed fertilizer stock, rooftop solar promotion, and progress on welfare schemes across Rajnandgaon district.

Under the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee, Rajnandgaon will host the “Healthy Women, Empowered Families” campaign from September 17 to October 2, focusing on women’s health through free screenings, awareness drives, and counseling. The campaign seeks to build healthier families and a stronger society by empowering women.

In Rajnandgaon, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure directed strict action against nursing homes violating the Nursing Home Act and announced a free mega health camp on September 17, coinciding with PM Narendra Modi’s birthday. The weekly review meeting also addressed pending revenue cases, welfare schemes, and preparations for Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee programs.

Chhattisgarh marked its Silver Jubilee celebrations in Rajnandgaon with a historic educational initiative. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh inaugurated a free online JEE-NEET coaching program across 11 centers, expected to benefit over 684 students with expert guidance, smart board classrooms, and study material.

Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, during the weekly review meeting, directed officials to accelerate the implementation of government schemes in tribal villages under the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, with Village Vision Plans, housing, healthcare, and certificate distribution forming key priorities during Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Women and Child Development Department organized cyber safety awareness programs in Kallubanjari and Joshilamati schools, educating adolescent girls on online frauds, safe social media practices, and reporting mechanisms.
