At a literary gathering in Dongargaon, MP Santosh Pandey said that great poetry and literature guide society, emphasising their cultural and moral influence. A memorandum seeking inclusion of the Chhattisgarhi language in the Eighth Schedule was presented to the MP, who assured he would raise the issue in Parliament. The event featured poets, scholars, and vibrant displays of Chhattisgarhi folk art.

The final literary work of Padma Shri awardee Dr. Surendra Dubey, Main Chhattisgarh Bolta Hoon, was released in a solemn yet celebratory ceremony at Maharaja Agrasen College auditorium, Samta Colony, Raipur. Representing Rajnandgaon, Abha Srivastava called it an honour to witness the moment, which was graced by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, former CM Dr. Raman Singh, and several eminent literary figures.
