The Health Department has sealed the gynecology operation theatre of Shukla Multi-Speciality Hospital in Rajnandgaon until further orders following the death of a female patient during treatment. The deceased, identified as Mrs. Daupadi Sahu from Rivagahan village in Balod district, had undergone a hysterectomy at the hospital last month. A five-member inquiry committee has been formed to investigate allegations of medical negligence.
