Under the Ram Lalla Darshan Ayodhya Dham Scheme, Rajnandgaon resident Sushila Chandel fulfilled her long-cherished wish of visiting Ayodhya, praising the Chhattisgarh government for its free and well-organised pilgrimage initiative.
In a vibrant and devotional atmosphere, BJP MP Santosh Pandey on Wednesday flagged off a special train carrying 665 pilgrims from 13 districts of Durg and Bastar divisions under the Shri Ramlala Darshan Ayodhya Dham Yojana. The pilgrims departed from Rajnandgaon railway station amid loud chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and traditional drumbeats.
In a grand send-off ceremony, 850 devotees from Raipur district embarked on a sacred journey to Ayodhya Dham and Kashi Vishwanath under the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board’s flagship “Ram Lalla Darshan Ayodhya Dham Yojana,” designed to connect citizens with India’s rich spiritual heritage.
The Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana special train will depart from Rajnandgaon for the first time on August 6, thanks to the efforts of Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma. The train will carry 850 pilgrims from Durg and Bastar divisions to Ayodhya Dham, furthering the state’s mission of connecting people with spiritual heritage.
