Rajnandgaon Police celebrated the 77th Republic Day at the Superintendent of Police Office, where SP Ankita Sharma hoisted the tricolour and conveyed greetings to officers and staff. Similar flag-hoisting ceremonies were held across all police stations and outposts in the district, marking the national festival with pride and unity.

Rajnandgaon celebrated the 77th Republic Day with grandeur at Digvijay Stadium as Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh hoisted the national flag and honoured 78 police personnel for exemplary service. The event featured parades, cultural performances, and cyber and traffic awareness rallies, spreading messages of patriotism, public safety, and responsible citizenship across the district.

Rajnandgaon Police have arrested a gold assayer accused of certifying fake gold used to secure a ₹48 lakh loan from an ICICI Bank branch. While one accused has been sent to judicial custody, the prime conspirator remains on the run.
