At the 40th IATO convention in Puri, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Neelu Sharma highlighted the state’s blend of natural beauty, heritage, and modern infrastructure. He invited tour operators to explore investment opportunities, emphasizing Chhattisgarh’s readiness to host national and international events.

Chhattisgarh has approved the construction of 166 Mahatari Sadan with a budget of ₹49.80 crore to empower rural women. Seven centres will be built in Rajnandgaon district, each serving as a hub for community participation, livelihood generation, and women’s self-reliance.

Principal Secretary Sonmani Borah reviewed preparations for the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, set to launch on September 17. The campaign will empower grassroots governance, establish service centers in tribal villages, and work towards Tribal Gram Vision 2030.

Collector Tulika Prajapati inspected the Digital Crop Survey in Mohla block, directing surveyors to ensure error-free data collection. The initiative will provide accurate crop assessments, faster farmer benefits, and transparent implementation of agricultural schemes.
