Acting on the directions of Collector Jitendra Yadav, district-level officers carried out a comprehensive field inspection across various parts of Rajnandgaon district on Saturday to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and improvement in public service delivery systems.

Officials from multiple departments visited their assigned areas to assess the ground-level progress of ongoing development projects, review construction activities, and evaluate the quality of services being provided to citizens. The initiative aimed at strengthening administrative monitoring and ensuring that benefits of welfare schemes reach beneficiaries at the grassroots level.
The Collector emphasized that departmental officers must regularly undertake field visits in addition to routine office work to ensure transparency, accountability, and timely execution of development programmes. Inspection findings will be reviewed during the upcoming weekly time-limit meeting to monitor progress and address bottlenecks.

During the inspection, officers visited several Gram Panchayats and reviewed the progress of houses being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin. They interacted directly with beneficiaries to understand issues related to installment payments, construction pace, and challenges faced in completing the houses. Officials directed concerned departments to resolve pending issues immediately so that beneficiaries receive safe and permanent housing before the onset of the monsoon season.

Authorities also inspected rural infrastructure works including roads, drainage systems, community buildings, drinking water facilities, and other development projects. Clear instructions were issued to complete all ongoing works within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high construction quality standards.
The district administration reiterated that proactive field monitoring remains essential for improving governance outcomes and ensuring that public welfare initiatives deliver tangible benefits to citizens.
