Rajnandgaon Police have uncovered a massive cyber fraud involving digital arrest intimidation and fake online share trading, resulting in losses of over ₹2 crore. Following coordinated raids in Gurugram, Sehore and Indore, four accused were arrested and a network of mule-account providers, crypto-based commission agents and technical operatives was exposed.

A series of violent incidents has shaken Rajnandgaon in recent days, triggering public outrage and raising serious questions over the city’s law and order situation. Amid rising insecurity, police have now launched “Operation Gunda” to curb growing hooliganism, especially after public anger intensified following a brutal knife attack at the busy Manav Mandir Chowk.

Eleven accused were arrested, and multiple digital devices, SIM cards, and fake bank accounts were seized in the two-year-long scam targeting unsuspecting marriage seekers online.

In a shocking late-night incident, Chandresh Kumar Bhojwani, grandson of former Madhya Pradesh minister the late Lilaram Bhojwani and son of businessman Raja Bhojwani, narrowly escaped a suspected hit-and-run near his Indira Nagar residence. CCTV footage shows a speeding car allegedly attempting to ram into his parked scooter. The police have registered a case and begun investigating what appears to be a deliberate act.
