Rajnandgaon Police have arrested a gold assayer accused of certifying fake gold used to secure a ₹48 lakh loan from an ICICI Bank branch. While one accused has been sent to judicial custody, the prime conspirator remains on the run.

राजनांदगांव में चेक बाउंस मामलों में लगातार फँस रहे आरोपी शुभम अग्रवाल को न्यायालय ने दूसरी बार छह माह के साधारण कारावास की सजा सुनाई है। परिवाद क्रमांक 3970/2023 में अदालत ने ₹1.70 लाख प्रतिकर प्रदान करने का आदेश भी दिया। इससे पहले भी इसी आरोपी को एक अन्य मामले में छह माह की सजा और ₹4 लाख प्रतिकर दिया जा चुका है। लगातार दो मामलों में सजा मिलने से प्रकरण गंभीर श्रेणी में दर्ज हो गया है।
