The Bastar Olympic Games were inaugurated in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah as the chief guest, alongside Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and former Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh. The event showcased tribal and rural talent, promoting sports as a tool for youth development, social integration, and nation-building. The Games symbolize a new era of identity, confidence, and progress for Bastar.

Benefiting from the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and Krishak Unnati Yojana, farmer Santosh Devangan from Bhendikala expressed gratitude for timely paddy procurement at ₹3,100 per quintal and said the policy has freed him from taking loans while motivating him toward modern, double-crop farming.

Ahead of Diwali, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav inspected Rajnandgaon’s Station Para area, reviewing sanitation and underbridge construction work. He instructed officials to resolve waterlogging issues, expedite the underbridge project, and ensure regular waste collection and segregation. Responding to residents’ requests, he also directed preparations for road and drainage improvements in Shikshak Nagar. The initiative aligns with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai’s emphasis on city-wide cleanliness and public health safety.
