Dr Raman Singh has secured ₹10.38 crore under the Infrastructure and Environment Cess Fund for development works in Rajnandgaon constituency for FY 2025–26. The approved projects include CC roads, community halls, sanitation facilities, high-mast lights and public infrastructure across dozens of villages.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Akhil Bharatiya Sadguru Kabir Sant Sammelan in Rajnandgaon, announcing an annual ₹11 lakh grant for the event and key infrastructure projects in Nadia village. He said Kabir’s teachings remain relevant today and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to farmers, women and youth welfare.

Reacting to the Chhattisgarh State Budget, senior Congress leader Rajesh Kumar alleged that Rajnandgaon has once again been ignored in the state’s financial planning. He demanded a special development package and district-specific projects in the supplementary budget to address pending infrastructure works, employment concerns, and relief for local traders.
