To curb the rising number of road accidents, Rajnandgaon Police have identified multiple high-risk accident-prone locations across the district and appealed to motorists to strictly follow traffic rules and drive cautiously.

During a Road Safety Committee meeting in Rajnandgaon, Collector Jitendra Yadav directed officials to identify accident-prone “black spots,” ensure repairs, and enforce stricter helmet and traffic rules. He also instructed authorities to remove stray cattle from city roads and impose fines on owners violating safety norms.
