Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma conducted an early morning inspection of Indira Nagar and Basantpur, directing officials to strengthen sanitation, check water supply lines, remove road encroachments, and penalize those dumping construction material on public roads.

Ahead of Chhath Puja and Mohara Mela, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma inspected key city ponds and mela grounds, directing civic staff to ensure cleanliness, lighting, and beautification works are completed in time for the festival.

Collector Jitendra Yadav inspected cleanliness arrangements in Rajnandgaon’s Mamta Nagar and Nawagaon wards, directing regular drain cleaning and immediate garbage removal. As part of the city’s pre-Diwali sanitation campaign, he urged residents to maintain waste segregation and civic responsibility.

In a high-level meeting of the District Task Force, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure announced the launch of the Stop Diarrhea Campaign 2025 from June 16 to July 31. He urged citizens to stay vigilant against seasonal diseases like diarrhea, dengue, malaria, and filariasis during the monsoon and called for increased public awareness, sanitation drives, and community participation.

Rajnandgaon Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma conducted surprise inspections across several localities to assess sanitation and enforce anti-plastic measures. Fines were imposed on violators, and residents were urged to maintain cleanliness and avoid using banned plastic.
