Rajnandgaon Police celebrated the 77th Republic Day at the Superintendent of Police Office, where SP Ankita Sharma hoisted the tricolour and conveyed greetings to officers and staff. Similar flag-hoisting ceremonies were held across all police stations and outposts in the district, marking the national festival with pride and unity.

The fourth day of the Rajnandgaon Swadeshi Mela saw a huge public turnout as speakers highlighted the importance of adopting indigenous products to strengthen the economy and foster patriotism. Khoobchand Parakh and other dignitaries emphasised India’s growing self-reliance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the expansion of small and cottage industries.

Mohla celebrated the 77th Republic Day with grandeur at the Mini Stadium as Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey hoisted the tricolour. The ceremony featured march-past contingents, cultural performances by schoolchildren, departmental tableaux, and the felicitation of officers, employees, and martyrs’ families, reflecting the spirit of patriotism and development.

National Voters’ Day was observed in Mohla with a district-level programme led by Collector Tulika Prajapati, where citizens took a pledge for 100 per cent voting. Young and first-time voters were felicitated, BLOs were honoured for outstanding voter awareness work, and a strong message of democratic participation and responsible voting was delivered.
