Rationalisation Brings Quality Education to Remote Villages of Chhuriya Block

The Chhattisgarh government’s rationalisation policy is proving effective in enhancing educational quality across rural and tribal areas, especially in the remote villages of Chhuriya block. With the strategic redeployment of teachers, the number of single-teacher schools has drastically reduced— from 93 to just 1 in primary schools and from 9 to 1 in upper primary schools. Six previously teacher-less schools now have full staffing, bringing stability to learning environments. This initiative is expected to ensure consistent education, better utilisation of educational resources, and renewed hope for children and parents in far-flung areas.
