Mayor Inspects Mohara River and Water Treatment Plant Amid Rising Water Levels

In response to the rising water level in the Mohara River due to heavy rainfall, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav conducted an inspection of the Mohara Shivnath River and the city’s water treatment facility. Accompanied by Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma and other key officials, the Mayor instructed the Water Resources Department to monitor the situation closely and open the remaining river gates once conditions permit. He emphasized the need for regular maintenance and cleaning of the anicut to restore the river’s water storage capacity, ensuring uninterrupted drinking water supply for the city.
