Anganwadi centres in rural Rajnandgaon are evolving into vibrant early learning spaces, shaping the future of young children through playful education and nutritional support. Model Anganwadi Centres such as Centre No. 1 and 3 at Bhothipar Khurd and Centre No. 3 at Singhola are providing a pre-nursery-like environment where children recite rhymes, learn alphabets, and engage in activity-based learning. With colourful wall paintings, birthday calendars, and well-maintained play areas, these centres have become hubs of early childhood development. In addition to educating children, they offer hot nutritious meals for children and pregnant women, while promoting health awareness among adolescent girls. Various government schemes including the Chief Minister’s Child Reference Scheme, Maternity Benefit Schemes, and Poshan Abhiyaan are being effectively implemented under the supervision of the Department of Women and Child Development.

A comprehensive training-cum-workshop was organized at the Collectorate meeting hall under the Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) to strengthen the understanding of bankers on Self-Help Groups (SHGs), credit linkage, enterprise finance, online loan applications, and RBI guidelines. Presiding over the session, CEO Zila Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh, emphasized the need for proactive coordination by banks in implementing government schemes under NRLM to ensure maximum benefit for SHG members. National Resource Person Mr. Sudhakar Satpati delivered detailed training on key NRLM concepts and digital financial processes. Banks and field-level functionaries who exhibited commendable performance in FY 2024–25 were felicitated with certificates and mementos.

छत्तीसगढ़ की पंडरिया विधानसभा क्षेत्र की विधायक भावना बोहरा को वर्ष 2024-25 के "उत्कृष्ट विधायक" पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। उन्हें यह सम्मान विधानसभा में सक्रिय भागीदारी, जनहित के मुद्दों को प्रभावी ढंग से उठाने और संसदीय प्रक्रियाओं में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए मिला। राज्यपाल रमेन डेका ने विधानसभा परिसर में आयोजित समारोह में यह पुरस्कार प्रदान किया। भावना ने इस सम्मान को पंडरिया की जनता को समर्पित करते हुए इसे एक बड़ी जिम्मेदारी बताया।
