As efforts continue to find missing Devendra Yadav, the administration has intensified relief and rescue operations amid ongoing monsoon challenges.

Rajnandgaon Records 638.8 mm Rainfall So Far This Monsoon

Since the onset of the monsoon on June 1, 2025, Rajnandgaon district has recorded a total of 638.8 mm of rainfall across its seven tehsils. On July 3 alone, 72.1 mm rainfall was recorded, with Dongargarh tehsil receiving the highest at 26.5 mm for the day, while Rajnandgaon tehsil remains the highest overall with 163 mm.

In the wake of relentless monsoon rains across Maharashtra, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed state officials to ensure rapid financial assistance and rehabilitation for affected citizens. With Mumbai, Konkan, and other regions facing widespread flooding, the state is now under a red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department.
