The Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls 2026 is underway in Rajnandgaon, with the Mayor directing officials to speed up form collection and ensure no eligible voter is excluded. Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma conducted a ward-wise review and instructed staff to intensify door-to-door efforts, prepare lists of deceased and migrated voters, and complete the process within the deadline.
Rajnandgaon: To strengthen city cleanliness ahead of upcoming festivals and the Vice President’s visit, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Municipal Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma conducted a field inspection at Ganj Chowk, Hat Bazaar, Udayachal, and Mohara Mela ground. They instructed officials to ensure regular sanitation, maintain public toilets, remove roadside debris, and take action against encroachments.
Ahead of Chhath Puja and Mohara Mela, Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Commissioner Atul Vishwakarma inspected key city ponds and mela grounds, directing civic staff to ensure cleanliness, lighting, and beautification works are completed in time for the festival.
Rajnandgaon’s Seva Pakhwada campaign gained momentum as citizens, students, and social groups enthusiastically joined the Clean and Green Festival. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav administered the oath of cleanliness while Morning Walk and Yoga Club members carried out plogging and park cleaning drives.
