Farmer ID Registration on Agristack Portal Mandatory for Paddy Sale

Chhattisgarh has mandated registration on the Agristack Portal for all farmers intending to sell paddy at MSP for Kharif 2025-26. Rajnandgaon district has achieved 77% registration so far. The deadline for generating a Digital Farmer ID is August 30, 2025, after which unregistered farmers may lose access to subsidies, insurance, and procurement benefits.

With the anticipated arrival of the monsoon in Chhattisgarh by June 11, 2025, farmers in Rajnandgaon district have begun preparing for the Kharif season. Amid concerns over a potential shortage of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer, the Agriculture Department has issued technical advisories promoting the use of alternative fertilizers to meet nutrient requirements for paddy, maize, pulses, and oilseeds. Recommendations include specific nutrient ratios and the use of nano-fertilizers to optimize yields while ensuring resource efficiency.
