Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to discuss road infrastructure projects in the parliamentary constituency. During the meeting, he sought financial support for the widening of the Khairagarh–Kawardha road and proposed a four-lane highway from Dhawaipani to Simga, while expressing gratitude for ongoing road projects sanctioned under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF).

The long-pending Dongargarh–Katghora new railway line project has received a major administrative boost following a high-level meeting in New Delhi. BJP Yuva Morcha State Minister Monu Bahadur Singh thanked leaders associated with the project and said the initiative, first pursued in 2018, is now moving from the planning stage towards implementation.

Akanksha Satyavanshi, the physiotherapist from Kawardha who played a vital role in India’s historic ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 triumph, met Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai in Raipur. The CM congratulated her for bringing glory to Chhattisgarh and announced a ₹10 lakh honorarium in recognition of her contribution. Akanksha dedicated her achievement to her home state and expressed hope to inspire young girls to pursue sports and professional excellence.
