Pankaj Bandhaw, State President of the Akhil Bharat Anusuchit Jati Parishad, has demanded government jobs for one family member of each Chhattisgarh migrant worker killed in the Kulgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. He also called for stronger security measures for migrant workers and strict action against those responsible for the attack.

Speaking at the SCO Foreign Ministers' meeting in Tianjin, External Affairs Minister S. Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Jammu and Kashmir for a crucial two-day visit to assess the security situation following the Pahalgam terror attack and recent Indo-Pak skirmishes. On Thursday, he chaired a high-level review meeting in Jammu, and on Friday, he is set to visit Poonch to meet victims' families, inspect cross-border shelling damage, and interact with BSF personnel. His visit aims to bolster morale and reinforce the Centre’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.
