Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti Observed as Social Harmony Day in Rajnandgaon; MoUs Signed for Digital Panchayat Centres, Special Housing Survey to Begin

On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti and Social Harmony Day, a district-level programme was held in Rajnandgaon with participation from Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma via video conferencing. The event featured the signing of MoUs between 40 Gram Panchayats and CSC service providers for setting up Atal Digital Panchayat Centres. A special housing survey under the Awas Plus 2.0 scheme will be conducted from April 15 to April 30 as part of the “Mor Duwar, Sahay Sarkar” campaign. Officials and dignitaries paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar, recited the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, and reflected on his contribution to social justice, women's empowerment, and constitutional governance.
