India’s 17th Vice Presidential election witnessed an impressive 96% turnout of MPs, marking a historic contest between NDA nominee and Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan and INDIA bloc’s candidate, former Supreme Court Judge B. Sudershan Reddy. With voting concluded in Parliament House, counting is underway and results are expected later this evening.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted members of the all-party delegation under Operation Sindoor at his residence on June 10, 2025. Prominent leaders like Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and former J&K CM Ghulam Nabi Azad attended the meeting. PM Modi praised the delegation on social media for effectively presenting India’s voice on the global stage and its firm stand against terrorism.
