As part of the “Moor Gaon, Moor Pani” campaign, a cluster-level training camp was successfully conducted in Gendatola village under Chhuriya block, Rajnandgaon district. In a major move to curb illegal liquor trade, the Excise Department in Rajnandgaon seized 6.3 bulk litres of illicit Maharashtra-made country liquor and a motorcycle from a suspect during transportation. The operation, carried out under the directives of District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, led to the arrest of one individual and was part of an ongoing crackdown against bootleggers and public alcohol abuse.
