With the paddy procurement season set to begin on November 15, Rajnandgaon district has completed all arrangements across its 96 purchase centres. This year, over 1.28 lakh farmers have registered, and tokens are being issued online through the “Token Tunhar Hath” mobile app to ensure transparency and smooth operations.
In a weekly review meeting, Rajnandgaon Collector Jitendra Yadav directed Patwaris to stay at headquarters and reviewed preparations for the upcoming three-day Rajyotsav. Key issues discussed included farmer registration, APAR ID completion, and inter-departmental coordination.
In Rajnandgaon district, over 1.17 lakh farmers have registered on the Agristek portal for Kharif 2024-25, marking 94% coverage. The registration drive, conducted in mission mode, aimed to ensure that every farmer benefits from procurement schemes, with pending cases due to technical issues expected to be resolved soon.
The Rajnandgaon district administration has intensified its farmer outreach campaign under the Agristack Portal's Farmer Registry. As part of the ongoing ‘Krishak Jodo Abhiyan,’ door-to-door awareness and village-level registration camps are being conducted to ensure all eligible farmers are registered before the August 30 deadline.
Chhattisgarh has mandated registration on the Agristack Portal for all farmers intending to sell paddy at MSP for Kharif 2025-26. Rajnandgaon district has achieved 77% registration so far. The deadline for generating a Digital Farmer ID is August 30, 2025, after which unregistered farmers may lose access to subsidies, insurance, and procurement benefits.
