Commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of India’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a grand Unity March was organized from the International Hockey Stadium in Rajnandgaon. The march, filled with patriotic fervor, echoed chants of “Vande Mataram” and “Sardar Patel Amar Rahe” as it passed through Gaurav Path and major city landmarks. Addressing the gathering, Speaker of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh lauded Patel’s historic contribution in integrating 565 princely states into one united India. He emphasized Patel’s enduring message — that national unity is the foundation of progress — and administered oaths for a self-reliant and drug-free India.

Marking Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, BJP will organize a month-long Unity March across Rajnandgaon and nationwide, connecting Patel’s vision of national integration with PM Modi’s mission of a self-reliant India.

Governor Ramen Deka highlighted India’s strength in its diversity during the Foundation Day celebrations of nine states at Raj Bhavan, Raipur, under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju stirred national pride with a powerful message on X, declaring “We are One” in support of Operation Sindoor. His post emphasized unity in the face of terrorism and echoed the government’s vision of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” symbolizing India’s unwavering commitment to national security and collective strength.
