The Enforcement Directorate has uncovered an alleged ₹3,000-crore loan fraud involving Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group and Yes Bank, exposing a web of bribery, financial irregularities, and loan diversions. Raids across 35 locations have revealed that loans were sanctioned without due diligence, raising serious questions about the integrity of corporate governance and banking oversight in India.

In a sharp political rebuttal, District Congress Committee (Rural) General Secretary and Zila Panchayat member Mahendra Yadav condemned the ED’s recent action against Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, as a clear case of political vendetta. Yadav accused the BJP-led central government of systematically misusing investigative agencies to target opposition leaders and suppress dissent.

Congress workers in Rajnandgaon launched a scathing protest against the BJP-led Chhattisgarh government and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), accusing them of political vendetta against former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his family. Effigies of the BJP and ED were burnt in a public demonstration at Jaistambh Chowk.
