Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s newly announced GST 2.0 policy has been described by BJP leader Vivek Monu Bhandari as a historic and people-centric reform. He said the decision will bring major relief to citizens battling inflation and simplify business for small traders. Essential items like milk, pulses, paneer, and insurance will now be completely tax-free, while daily-use goods such as soap, tea, coffee, and ghee will attract only 5% tax. Bhandari stressed that GST 2.0 is not just a tax reform but a true “master stroke” by Modi Ji, strengthening both “Ease of Living” and “Ease of Doing Business,” while bringing festive cheer to households across the country.
