The BJP Minority Morcha has strongly criticized the Congress for expressing sorrow over the killing of Naxal commander Hidma, accusing the party of showing softness toward extremist groups and forgetting the Jhiram Valley massacre. BJP leaders Irfan Sheikh and Zaheer Abbas claimed that Congress has a history of indirect support to violent organisations, a stance they say exposes the party’s “double standards” on national security.

BJP’s youth wing staged a massive protest in Rajnandgaon, burning Rahul Gandhi’s effigy over his alleged objectionable remarks against PM Modi in Bihar. Led by BJP and BJYM district leaders, the protest at Mahavir Chowk drew more than 100 workers, who accused the Congress of repeatedly insulting the Prime Minister and undermining democratic values.

Following his defeat in the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, Rahul Gandhi has increasingly aligned his rhetoric with the narratives of India’s adversaries. From questioning the Indian Army after the Pulwama attack to demanding proof following the success of Operation Sindoor, his words have repeatedly provided ammunition to Pakistan and China.
