The Rajnandgaon Chamber of Commerce celebrated Diwali with underprivileged families in local slum areas, distributing sweets, snacks, and smiles while promoting the “Vocal for Local” campaign that boosted local market sales.

A blood donation and health check-up camp was held at Pandit Kishorilal Shukla Horticulture College in Rajnandgaon to honor the memory of SP Vinod Kumar Chaube and 29 jawans martyred in the 2009 Madanwada-Korkotti Naxal attack. Locals, students, and officials came together in a powerful tribute, combining remembrance with community service and health awareness.

Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh visited Bharregaon and Janglesar villages to offer condolences and pay tribute to two late local leaders. He met with the grieving families and highlighted their contributions to society, praying for peace and strength for the bereaved.

In a humanitarian initiative to combat the scorching summer temperatures, the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries, with support from the Mobile Association and District Sarafa Association, inaugurated public water booths (Pyaau Ghars) across Rajnandgaon. The move aims to ensure the availability of clean drinking water to the general public through both permanent and mobile water booths.
