Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a high-level Unified Command meeting in Nava Raipur to review anti-Naxal operations and development in affected regions. Emphasizing a dual focus on security and progress, the CM directed officials to intensify operations against insurgents while ensuring timely implementation of infrastructure, education, and welfare projects in tribal and remote areas.

The Chhattisgarh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, convened at Mahanadi Bhawan in Nava Raipur to deliberate on key policy decisions focused on development and welfare. The meeting is expected to address flood relief, agricultural support, and improvements in education and healthcare, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and citizen-centric governance.

Rajnandgaon Mayor Madhusudan Yadav and Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted an early morning inspection of government land within municipal limits to assess sites for the implementation of approved public welfare schemes. Accompanied by senior officials, the team visited various locations including Mohara water treatment plant and reviewed potential sites for projects such as a Hockey Academy, Nalanda Complex, a multi-purpose auditorium, and wholesale market. The visit underscores the administration’s focus on ground-level execution of state and central government initiatives for the benefit of local residents.

Under the impactful governance initiative Sushasan Tihar 2025, 70-year-old Girish Kumar Thakkar and other senior citizens in Rajnandgaon received immediate registration and issuance of Ayushman Vay Vandana Cards. Out of 20 total applications received between April 8–11, 16 cards were delivered on the spot, reflecting efficient service and a citizen-first approach.
