District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh conducted surprise inspections in three Rajnandgaon villages, directing immediate action on pending housing works, cleanliness drives, and timely completion of key infrastructure projects.

The Chhattisgarh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, convened at Mahanadi Bhawan in Nava Raipur to deliberate on key policy decisions focused on development and welfare. The meeting is expected to address flood relief, agricultural support, and improvements in education and healthcare, underscoring the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and citizen-centric governance.

The General Assembly meeting of Rajnandgaon Zila Panchayat, chaired by President Kiran Vaishnav, focused on crop diversification, water supply projects, fair price shop allocations, and a comprehensive review of departmental progress across the district.

Principal Secretary Sonmani Borah reviewed preparations for the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan, set to launch on September 17. The campaign will empower grassroots governance, establish service centers in tribal villages, and work towards Tribal Gram Vision 2030.

As part of Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav, Rajnandgaon district has launched a mass campaign for 100% issuance of income, caste, and residence certificates through village-level camps from August 20–30, with free facilities for students.

On Independence Day, Rajnandgaon District Panchayat CEO Suruchi Singh and her team were felicitated by Speaker Dr. Raman Singh for outstanding contributions in rural development, water conservation, and innovative programs during the main ceremony at Shaurya Parade Ground.

District Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure conducted an unannounced inspection of key government facilities in Ghumka, including the tehsil office, Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Nagar Panchayat, and the Community Health Center. He reviewed ongoing work, issued directives for furniture installation in new buildings, and assessed the progress of welfare schemes like Matri Vandana Yojana and institutional deliveries.

Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh participated in a large-scale "Samadhan Shivir" held at Motipur School Ground in Rajnandgaon as part of the ongoing Su-Shasan Tihar. Addressing issues from six urban wards, the camp offered immediate redressal of public grievances, distribution of welfare materials, and ensured government services reached citizens at the grassroots level.

As part of the ongoing 'Sushasan Tihar', Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh participated in a mega solution camp in village Tedsera, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation for 22 development works worth ₹1.21 crore. Multiple welfare benefits, including housing, sanitation, and health cards, were distributed to the villagers under various central and state schemes.

During a district-level review of Su-Shasan Tihar 2025 in Rajnandgaon, Secretary Avinash Champawat called for strategic action to solve public issues and ensure effective delivery of government schemes like Ayushman Card, PMAY, and Jal Jeevan Mission, with over 1.27 lakh applications received and 84,000 resolved so far.

During a press conference in Rajnandgaon, Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure emphasized the Chhattisgarh government's proactive steps toward transparent administration and time-bound resolution of public grievances under 'Su-Shasan Tihar 2025'. The district has already resolved over 84,000 of the 1.27 lakh applications received.
