Congress workers in Rajnandgaon launched a scathing protest against the BJP-led Chhattisgarh government and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), accusing them of political vendetta against former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his family. As part of Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Power Infrastructure Development Scheme, a new 3.15 MVA power transformer has been energized at the Pailimeta substation in Khairagarh. This upgrade will significantly improve voltage stability and ensure uninterrupted, high-quality power supply to over 6,500 rural consumers, including farmers.
