Dedicated to the heroic legacy of tribal freedom fighters, the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Tribal Freedom Fighters Museum in Nava Raipur has witnessed an overwhelming response since its inauguration. Attracting visitors from across India and abroad, the fully digital museum has become a major cultural and educational landmark within just two months of its opening.

The Khairagarh Festival 2025 concluded with grandeur as Governor and Chancellor Ramen Deka graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest. The theme song of Sonpuri — the Governor’s adopted village — was officially released. With thousands in attendance, the evening featured captivating classical, folk and dance performances. The Governor said that art is not merely entertainment but a force that makes human beings sensitive and deeply connected to culture.

The Khairagarh Festival 2025 commenced with a grand inauguration by Rajnandgaon MP Santosh Pandey at Indira Kala Sangeet University. With the special presence of Pandariya MLA Bhawna Bohra and former MLA Komal Janghel, the event turned into a vibrant celebration of art and culture. Artists from India and abroad captivated audiences with classical, folk, contemporary and tribal performances, while the art gallery showcasing diverse paintings and sculptures drew significant appreciation from visitors.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel during the Ekta Diwas celebrations at Kevadia, Gujarat, marking the Iron Man’s 150th birth anniversary. At the Statue of Unity, the CM highlighted Patel’s historic role in national integration and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for carrying forward his vision of a strong and united India. He also encouraged Chhattisgarh’s cultural troupe participating in the national cultural festival, calling them ambassadors of the state’s rich heritage.

On the second day of Rajyotsav celebrations in Mohla, vibrant cultural performances by students and local artists showcased the rich heritage of Chhattisgarh. Quiz winners were honored with saplings, while citizens were also informed about the Voter List Revision process.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s silver jubilee celebrations, the Rajnandgaon Municipal Corporation organized a vibrant Chhattisgarhi Cuisine Festival at Chowpatty. Mayor Madhusudan Yadav inaugurated the event, where women’s self-help groups showcased traditional dishes and local products, highlighting the state’s rich culinary heritage.

Dr. Krishna Kumar Sinha has appealed to the Government of India to confer the country’s highest civilian honour posthumously on Maharaja Chakradhar Singh of Raigarh, whose unparalleled contributions to music, dance, and literature continue to inspire generations.

As part of Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, a district-wide Chhattisgarhi Film Festival was held in Rajnandgaon, where over 85,000 schoolchildren watched films showcasing 25 years of development and cultural heritage.

The Sanatan Dharma Mahila Mandal organized a magnificent Sawan Teej festival at Balramdas Town Hall in Rajnandgaon, mirroring the spiritual aura of Vrindavan. With traditional dances, decorated swings, devotional fervor, and active participation of hundreds of women, the event blended faith, festivity, and cultural pride. Chief guest Dr. Varnika Sharma praised the event as a true reflection of living traditions and empowered womanhood.

In the vibrant spirit of Saawan, the women of Ward 36 in Lakholi came together for the grand ‘Saawan Sundari’ celebration, jointly organized by the South BJP Mandal Mahila Group and Nari Kalyan Self-Help Group. Adorned in traditional attire and solah shringar, participants showcased their cultural finesse through various competitions. Former MP Abhishek Singh, who graced the event as chief guest, lauded the women’s enthusiasm and called them symbols of empowerment and heritage.
