Congress leader Rishi Shastri has termed the Chhattisgarh Budget 2026–27 anti-people, alleging the absence of a recruitment calendar, inflation relief, and concrete support for farmers, while accusing the government of focusing on publicity over real development.

He alleged that the budget offers no concrete relief to farmers, unemployed youth or small traders, while shifting welfare burdens to states and prioritising corporate interests.
