The Election Commission has extended the deadline for submitting manual forms under the Special Summary Revision (SAR) from 11 December to 18 December, offering relief to many residents. BJP youth worker Gitesh Gupta has welcomed the move, calling it essential for ensuring an accurate and complete voter list.

Rajnandgaon district is conducting a Special Intensive Revision of the electoral roll, with BLOs delivering enumeration sheets door-to-door and over 1.75 lakh voter forms already digitized. Voters must submit completed forms by December 4, while the draft roll will be published on December 9.

To ensure free, fair, and inclusive elections, the Rajnandgaon district administration has held a key meeting with political party representatives to discuss voter list revision and rationalization of polling stations ahead of the 2025 elections. With special camps planned and digital tools in use, the administration is working toward transparent electoral roll updates and greater voter participation.
