गुजरात के अहमदाबाद स्थित चंडोला तालाब क्षेत्र में प्रशासन ने एक बार फिर अवैध बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठियों और अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ बड़ा डिमोलिशन अभियान शुरू किया है। 20 मई से शुरू हुई इस तीन दिवसीय कार्रवाई के तहत 8000 से अधिक अवैध निर्माणों को गिराया जा रहा है। यह क्षेत्र लंबे समय से अवैध बांग्लादेशी नागरिकों का ठिकाना बन चुका था। प्रशासन ने सख्ती दिखाते हुए 3000 पुलिसकर्मियों की तैनाती, ड्रोन निगरानी और बुलडोजरों के साथ यह ऐतिहासिक कार्रवाई शुरू की है।
