नई शिक्षा नीति 2020 के तहत बीएड कोर्स को बंद कर दिया गया है और उसकी जगह नया इंटीग्रेटेड टीचर एजुकेशन प्रोग्राम (ITEP) शुरू किया गया है। यह कोर्स 12वीं के बाद 4 साल का और स्नातक के बाद 1 साल का होगा, जिससे शिक्षक बनने के लिए नई दिशा मिलेगी।
