The Tehsil Sahu Association and the Rural Sahu Association of Rajnandgaon are set to inaugurate their newly constructed community building at Chokhadiya Para on April 29. The event will be graced by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao as the chief guest, along with many other eminent political and community leaders.

At the district-level Vishwakarma Jayanti celebrations and youth introduction meet in Rajnandgaon, Speaker Dr. Raman Singh praised the Lohar community's historical contribution to India's development and announced a ₹10 lakh grant for the construction of their community hall. He emphasized the government's commitment to inclusive growth and empowerment of traditional artisans through various welfare schemes.

कर्नाटक के आबकारी मंत्री आरबी तिम्मापुर के पहलगाम आतंकी हमले को लेकर दिए बयान ने विवाद खड़ा कर दिया है। तिम्मापुर ने कहा कि आतंकवादियों ने मृतकों का धर्म नहीं पूछा, जिसे मृतकों के परिजनों और विपक्षी दलों ने असंवेदनशील करार दिया। भाजपा ने इस बयान को तुष्टिकरण की राजनीति से जोड़ते हुए तीखी आलोचना की है। सोशल मीडिया पर भी इस बयान की कड़ी निंदा हो रही है। सरकार पर दबाव बढ़ रहा है कि वह स्पष्ट रुख अपनाते हुए इस मुद्दे पर संवेदनशीलता दिखाए।
